Summer Session Orientation

  • Overview

    Summer Session Orientation is a 2-day program designed to assist new students starting their studies at UL Lafayette during summer session.  During Orientation, students will have the opportunity to meet with their college dean, meet with other incoming students, learn about important university resources, and meet with an academic advisor in preparation of registering for classes.

    Orientation Fee

    The fee for Summer Session Orientation is $100.00 and includes all Orientation program materials, lunch, a university course catalog CD, program facilitation, and a Ragin' Cajun spirit shirt. Your orientation fee must be paid online at the time of registration. You can pay using a Credit Card (MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or with an electronic check.

     

    Orientation Registration

    Registration is currently unavailable for Summer Session Orientation. Information on registration will be mailed beginning in February, 2012 to all newly admitted Summer Session students.

    Parking information will be available in Spring 2012.

     

    Check-In Time & Location

    Check-In runs from 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM in the Student Union Ballroom (Building 31 on Campus Map).

     

    Program Length

    Orientation runs from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

    Semester Begins

    Summer Session 2011 Classes begin Monday, June 4, 2012.
